Factory Friday: October 2nd

It's Friday and we're here with some behind the scenes shots from the production floor. We build our boots here in Eugene, Oregon and we're very proud of our process and the end result, and we think you will enjoy some behind the scenes action.

Cutting machine operator built a custom pair of boots in Black Oiled Rough Out, paired with a black Vibram wedge sole; perfect for being on her feet all day.

Open preorder boots going through production including some Uplands and Crazy Cow builds.

Java in production again, this time our classic cap toe boot.

The natural tan color of Coyote makes for really versatile boots.

Since bringing in Black Oiled Rough Out, we've expanded into two other colors, Coyote seen here, and Brown.

A little cleanup on the upper leather before placing the fiberglass shank and cork filling.

360° Goodyear welted, and midsole about to be applied before stitching.

Using a midsole allows for easy sole replacement.

Nearing the end of the line, these Javas only have final sanding, staining and Q/C to go through.

Preorders finished up and on the Q/C rack.

This Java boot features pull tabs, our heavy lug outsole, and a dark brown split leather welt.
