Factory Friday: January 30th

It's Friday and we're here with some behind the scenes shots from the production floor. We build our boots here in Eugene, Oregon and we're very proud of our process and the end result, and we think you will enjoy some behind the scenes action.

Seidel's Oiled Rough Out has been one of our all time favorites to work with, hence why we brought in the new Coyote color, and have this sample of Brown Oiled Rough Out we're trying.

Close up shot of the Boondocker moc stitching.

Coyote Rough Out hasn't been restocked in quite some time.

So we've got a batch going through.

Here we're stapling the upper before it gets welted.

Ready for the welt.

Even application of cork ensures a solid, even cushion underfooot.

Corked, waiting for the application of the midsole.

That new Brown Oiled Rough Out looks perfect.

Nailing the midsole.

Here a press rolls along the welt, ensuring even consistent pressure before stitching.

After the wedge outsole is attached, it is pressed. A pretty good visual for why these are so comfortable for all day wear.

Final cleanup on outsole before packing up.

More next Friday. Sign up for weekly updates delivered direct—no spam, just factory floor reality.
