Factory Friday: August 15th

Factory Friday: August 15th

It's Friday and we're here with some behind the scenes shots from the production floor. We build our boots here in Eugene, Oregon and we're very proud of our process and the end result, and we think you will enjoy some behind the scenes action.

The last horse is crossing the finish line.

Pull-up rich, caramel leather makes for a classic boot.

Our Upland boot is the taller option in our line, giving more ankle support, while remaining less aggressive and still appropriate for most scenarios.

Beautiful.

A veritable sea of caramel.

Every stitch in place.

Waxed Flesh leather is an excellent leather for outdoor use: waxing results in water-resistance, while wear results in an easily appreciated evolution.

Surprisingly one of the most popular of our work mocs we've released, this leather being Ink Cheaha.

Attaching the welt prior to applying the shank and cork.

Our mocs have never looked as good as they do now.

Some of our work mocs feature a wedge sole, some feature our heavy lug. There's a tradeoff inherently, the greater comfort of the wedge results in less longevity, while the harder tempered heavy lug has less give.

Round and round it goes, refining the silhouette until it's perfect.

Lots of customs finishing up this week.

A pair of custom Uplands in Brown Double Shot.

New release in Autumn Cypress is all finished up.

Our boxes, like our boots, are made here in Oregon.

Hopefully this was an enjoyable insight into our process. Check back next week to see more.
