It's Friday and we're here with some behind the scenes shots from the production floor. We build our boots here in Eugene, Oregon and we're very proud of our process and the end result, and we think you will enjoy some behind the scenes action.

This week we're focussing on the final, finishing steps in the process of building boots.

First, silver pen marks from cutting are removed.

Adhesive is applied to the inserts. This is what is directly underneath your foot.

Adhesive is also applied inside, and then they are inserted and pressed into place.

Leather welts get their edges beveled/

And then the edges are stained.

The stain dries and then is buffed.

Friction on the buffing wheel smooths the finish resulting in an appearance, especially on the heel, often confused with wood.

Once the boots are finished they are inspected, prior to boxing up.

Love the value of your boots.
