Factory Friday: July 4th

Factory Friday: July 4th

It's Friday and we're here with some behind the scenes shots from the production floor. We build our boots here in Eugene, Oregon and we're very proud of our process and the end result, and we think you will enjoy some behind the scenes action.

We've got various batches of leather sorted out for some limited preorders. Anyone remember Vintage Military Horse Rump?

We swapped to a standing zig-zag stitcher, a real back-saver.

Upland Preorders are steadily trickling through the production line.

Our Upland in Tobacco Snakebite is a beaut.

Some Charcoal Double Shot on the line.

New work moc in near-black Charcoal Double Shot leather. These are going to be on a black wedge sole.

Sesame Double Shot is a really beautiful leather. Plain toe restocking next week.

Before welt is attached to the upper, we staple the upper to the gemmed footbed.

Removal of staple, just before the shank is added, and the cavity is filled with cork.

A slowed-down fraction of a second of midsole trimming action.

Different angle, still slowed down, but closer to real time.

Stitching the welt to the midsole, this white midsole gets paired with a wedge sole.

Some of the Upland preorders in QC, just about to head out.

Hopefully this was an enjoyable insight into our process. Check back next week to see more.
