Factory Friday: October 10th

Another week, another batch of boots built right. This Friday’s look inside our Eugene factory shows the American manufacturing that backs up everything we sell.

Tool of the trade.

From thread, to leather, we use the best US materials.

A strong heel counter is a requirement for boots expected to be put to the test.

The gusseted tongue is attached and the excess leather is then trimmed.

Uplands in Java Waxed Flesh are coming your way.

Same with a new favorite of ours, Boondock from Seidel.

This week we got a new machine seen here.

Sanding in snakebite.

After stitching the outsole and the heel is attached, the edge is finessed.

The result.

And after finishing, these new Black Oiled Rough Outs look sharp.

More next Friday. Sign up for weekly updates delivered direct—no spam, just factory floor reality.
