Another week, another batch of boots built right. This Friday’s look inside our Eugene factory shows the American manufacturing that backs up everything we sell.

Everything we love about the Black Oiled Rough Out leather in a rustic, coyote color.

Lining leather, generally used in the vamp only.

Boondocker and Java about to have hardware set.

If you're intending to spend a lot of time in wet conditions, treated rough outs are unparalleled.

Welting allows for the boot to be resoled repeatedly.

After welting, excess upper leather is trimmed.

Cork is a natural material that is molded underfoot, with wear.

The outsole stitcher pierces through the welt, midsole and our thick heavy lug outsole.

Heels are glued and nailed.

Once the outsole is stitched and heels are attached, the whole bottom gets a refining sanding.

Ready for finishing.

Finishing includes buffing the applied finish to the welt/midsole/heel stack.

Checked and getting boxed up for you.
