Factory Friday: February 13th

It's Friday and we're here with some behind the scenes shots from the production floor. We build our boots here in Eugene, Oregon and we're very proud of our process and the end result, and we think you will enjoy some behind the scenes action.

The foundation of the boot really, a thick leather insole to which the upper is attached.

Recent preorders starting their journey through the factory.

A variety of uppers heading to get hardwared.

And a Black Oiled Rough Out restock, this time around with a matching reversed BORO tongue. And a few more of those preorders.

A restock on the standard Boondocker moc is in the works.

Here this Tobacco Snakebite upper is being stapled to the gemming, prior to welting.

Trimming the excess upper leather even with the welt.

Rough Shot, in this case Chocolate, has more base color to it than other treated rough outs we use.

You can see that it's overtly brown, whereas Java Waxed Flesh is a bit darker.

Man + Machine.

Heels are glued and nailed, before sanding and general finishing.

Chocolate Rough Shot is available both in our taller work moc...
